I just recently took delivery of my new RT188 and absolutely love the boat. One of my best purchases ever! It has a Mercury 115 motor, Lowrance Elite-7 CHIRP in the console, an Elite-9 CHIRP ball mounted at the stern and a 70# Minn-Kota 24V trolling motor. We put it on the water this weekend and ran the necessary time for motor break in, plus used the few allowed ten seconds bursts of full throttle. What a great, smooth riding boat. Plenty of deck space for two or even three to fish. All kinds of storage space for tackle, equipment and rods. The RT188 is an awesome package. Perfect for what I desire in a fishing boat. Perfect ten!

I had a 28 year old aluminum boat. I wanted another aluminum boat and had shopped all the available brands for a couple of years. This year I went to a boat show and saw the Ranger RT188. It had everything I was looking for. I bought the one at the show. After looking at all the features I was surprised at how affordable it was.

I love it! It is a great fishing boat with plenty of storage for gear. The ride is smooth and fast and it handles choppy water well. The trailer is perfect. Easy to load and unload. The boat performs exactly as advertised. I got mine with a 115 Evinrude E-TEC. So far it is flawless; starts instantly and idles down to about 2 miles an hour. At full throttle it will approach 50 miles an hour. I am really happy with this rig. You won't find a better aluminum bass boat.

...I am blown away with not only the performance of the RT188, but how close it comes to the luxuries of the fiberglass editions. I can't say enough about the Ranger. It is way more than the name and that is off the charts. I love my Rangers...all of them.

I purchased my new RT188 with a Mercury 115 4stroke about 8 months ago and I am absolutely loving it. It has a huge front deck that two people can fish from with ease. It is very light weight and does not require a 3/4 ton pick up to haul it. It handles rough water just as good as any boat I have ever been in. The boat came equipped with top notch accessories such as trolling motor, batteries, depth finder, etc... and it looks good too! I have had numerous people inquire at the boat landings about the Ranger Aluminum series and I have all good things to say about it! Way to go Ranger on making a great product for a great price!

I recently purchased my 188 with Yamaha 115 package from Duncan Marine in Brandon, MS (great folks to do business with). This boat is awesome!!! It has great features, rides smooth, very stable, has great storage for all gear, love the rod locker, and fishes great! It has a giant front deck! That's just to name a few of the great features! I love my new Ranger and would highly recommend anybody interested in a new boat check out the features on the Ranger RT188!

Bought the RT188 about 8 months ago so I can give a good "seat of the pants" review now. I have had this boat in a lot of different types of water and situations and trailered it to Florida and back. I traded in my 19 ft. fiberglass boat on this aluminum Ranger. I have been very impressed with the RT188 and the 115 Yamaha combination. It fishes great from the front, has a lot of room and is the most stable metal boat I have been in, it takes rough water well and rides smooth. I am retired now and it is a lot easier on me to move around and hook and unhook. It trailers easy and is easy to load at the ramp. The 80 pound trolling motor takes it anywhere through grass and weeds. I am very pleased with the purchase.

I own a 1980 375V I/O . Best bass rig I have ever had. I've owned this boat for for 32 years had one engine rebuild about 12 years ago, other than that I have never had the first problem with it. Last week I purchased a new RT188 with a opti max 115. So far this boat has impressed the hell out of me. If you haven't checked them out yet you should . Same 'Ranger quality we have all come to expect.

Just purchased a RT 188 Ranger Aluminum boat. Didn't realize Ranger made aluminum boats. I've wanted a Ranger my entire life and now I have one. It is truly first class. The welds are flawless, the fit and finish are industry leading, and the ride is, well, it rides like a Ranger - fast to plane, quick turning, sure feeling, and dry riding. I now own the finest aluminum boat on my lake. Heads turn at the ramp. People with $50,000 boats make it a point to tell me what a beautiful boat I have. I can't forget the dealer either; Anglers Choice in Lexington, NC. Mark is the best and the rest of the staff could not have been more helpful. Thanks for making the best boat on the water.

I just took delivery of the new RT188 - dual console, black, with a 115 fourstroke Mercury and all I can say is WOW. I traded my 96 482VS glass Ranger in on this new aluminum model. The RT188 has all the quality that you would expect on a Ranger. The fit of all the components is flawless. The ride is smooth and handles wake crossing like a charm. Loading and unloading on the Ranger Trail trailer is smooth.

I am so far very pleased and highly recommend this new member of the Ranger family.

I purchased my RT188 on March 18 and fished for a week out of it at Lake Fork. It exceed my expectations in every way. It is very stable and handled good in wind and waves. I love the amount of storage and the size of the fishing decks. Overall, I think this is the best aluminum bass boat on the market!! I recently had the opportunity to tour the factory and found all of the people to be hard working and very interested in what I thought of the boat. You guys are doing a great job!
